Human Resource Business Partner - JohannesburgAn HRBP plays an essential role in creating a strategic liaison between HR and the business side of a company.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of the HR Specialist will be, but not limited to the following:
Participate in HR projects which are aligned to the business strategyTogether with the Regional HR Officer Africa and Regional Operations Manager, review, and train staff on the performance management processReview current documentation such as the induction packs and make recommendations on applicable changesTogether with relevant stakeholders review the training plans and recommend training programsReview current job profiles to ensure alignment to business needsTogether with the Regional HR Officer Africa, review and develop policies aligned with country specific legislationIn alignment with local legislation, ensure proper disciplinary processes are followed within the regionEnsure that all company policies are being implemented, adhered to, and appropriate disciplinary measures instituted against violations of such policiesAct as an advisor to the business on HR related issuesRepresent the company at CCMA and bargaining counsel casesPayroll ResponsibilitiesReview timesheets and approve the payroll for the entire regionLiaise with Head office payroll on queries, changes, and legal requirements for the regionEnsure staff is paid correctly and on timeUpload and maintain employee data on PaySpaceRespond to payroll queries from the various sitesTrain employees on the ESS systemTime keeping management including the biometric systemMonitor and administer the company benefits i.e., Provident FundDevelop and update personnel record keeping systems for the regionReports and AuditsParticipate in operation meetings and submit weekly and monthly reportsParticipate in Global initiatives including annual and quarterly report submissionAssist and provide human resource information during the auditing processAssist with the collation of quarterly statistic and skills and equity report submissionCreate additional analyses and reports as requested by managementSubmit annual HR budgets for the regionAssist with the tender packs to ensure the budget allocated compensates for the cost and revenue of the companySubmit monthly FTE reportsAssist with the region statutory reports i.e., Employment Equity, BBBEE, ATR and WSPRisk MitigationAlert the Management to key emerging risk areasMake input to improve risk mitigation strategiesActively participate in crisis management activities as and when requiredGeneral ResponsibilitiesAlways ensure the security of the officeAssist general maintenance, ordering stationeryBe part of the organisation's company function committee assisting in planning and roll outGeneral office communication and queriesApply For Job
