Purpose of the position:The Channel Manager will be responsible for the growth and revenue goals through the recruitment, development and management of a network of resellers within South Africa. Duties would include establishing and executing key accounts plans with Channel Partners in territory with a focus on accelerating sales growth, promoting complete solutions and further penetrating customer accounts and targeted markets. These developmental responsibilities include market awareness events, revenue development activities and marketing campaigns. Major Compulsory ResponsibilitiesSignificanceCompulsory Responsibilities1.Recruit new prospective partners through identification and qualification of their value, ability and skill to complement the Digital Power Go-To-Market strategy and focus2.Effectively presenting the Digital Power Value Proposition and Products to Partners and Customers.3.Responsible for all Channel revenue growth & retention Distribution and Solutions Partners.4.Regular & Accurate forecasting5.Deployment, Management and Measurement of the Channel Plan and Goals with each managed partner Certifications, Goals, Market development Activities, Lead Generation, Quarterly Business Reviews etc6.Develop and manage relationship up to the executive level of our channel partners through meetings and interactions7.Manage channel conflict through early detection of potential unsettlement, strict adherence to channel rules of engagement and open communication8.Collaborate with sales, product, service, and commercial departments to jointly promote the construction of the regional channel ecosystem and improve the brand9.Other Adhoc Other Competencies/Attributes:1.Strong relationships and a well-established network within the Channel Ecosystem2.Reputational excellence and overall acknowledgement of high levels integrity 3.Result driven4.Well presentable and good communication skills, innovative and passionate personalityRequired Education / Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or Diploma, renewable energy or related qualification will be an advantage.
