Requirements Minimum 7 years experience as an HSE officer. Drivers licence. Own reliable vehicle. A recognized safety certification (minimum: of 2 weeks training) (e.g. SAMTRAC / Modern SHEQ Management course). OH&S Act and Regulations (latest version of the Act and regulations); COID Act (latest version of the Act); Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Technique; Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training; Health & Safety Auditing; Environmental Compliance Recognized Course; Emergency Preparedness Coordination Training. Fire equipment inspector training certificate. First Aid training Certificate (preference is equivalent to level 3 First Aid). Fall Protection Plan Developer Training Certificate (SAQA US 229994). Must be registered with Statutory Body, SACPCMP, as CHSO.
