Hse Manager (Sacpcmp Essential)

Our client, a leader in the field of Renewable Energy, specializing in construction of PV/Solar power plant sites, seeks to employ a well experienced and qualified Health and Safety Manager, with proven experience in PV Site Construction and who is SACPCMP registered.
Ideally, we would prefer a candidate available immediately, open to Fixed Duration Contracts for between 12 and 18 months, however, all candidates will be reviewed based on relevant industry experience.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have completed a degree in Engineering or a formal qualification in Safety Management, coupled with a valid SACPCMP registration,  and 5 plus years experience in working with large scale PV Solar projects within the power plant construction sector.
Sound working knowledge of ISO 18001, ISO14001 implementation and management on site.
You will have proven experience in establishing project HSE action plans, develop safety programs per site, develop contractor training programs and ensure contractor compliance, as well as developing strategies to improve HSE Management per project.
You will show exceptional leadership skills, as well as being able to work in a cross-functional team to ensure successful hand over of the project within the allotted deadlines and time frames, be results and solutions orientated.
You must have a valid driver's license, own car, be able to travel between sites in the North West or Limpopo A clear criminal /credit record and contactable references are essential
