Hse Manager

Project HSE Manager My client has a vacancy for a project-based HSE Manager to execute an oil-and-gas project in Coega.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring legislative compliance as well as achieving the business objectives of the project.
Duties include, but are not limited to:Ensure ISO- and project audit complianceEnsure that legal appointments, certification and compliance are maintainedConduct risk assessments & generate data booksMonitor adherence to systems and proceduresProvide support, evaluate risk performance and reliability, and recommend corrective and preventative actions.Responsible for day-to-day execution of all HSE-related matterIncident and accident investigationsManage and co-ordinate Inductions and toolbox talksCo-ordinate safety meetings & OHS responsibilitiesLiaise with all departments to achieve legislative and project compliance
REQUIREMENTSRelevant safety management qualificationWorking knowledge of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 90001 & 14001-2015Minimum of 5 years safety, health, and environment management experience – preferably in a ship repair/oil and gas environment where ISO practices are well entrenchedSound verbal communication skillsComputer literacyValid driver's licence
