Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of implementing HR Information Systems (HRIS). This is a full-time contractor role for an initial 6-month period, where the successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the implementation of a new HRIS solution within the organisation.The role requires strong project management capabilities, deep experience in HRIS implementation, and ability to assess and optimise HR processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead HRIS Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of the HRIS project, from initial planning and vendor selection to configuration, testing, and deployment. Ensure that the project meets business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.Stakeholder Management: Work closely with HR leadership, IT, and external vendors to align project goals with business needs. Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, HR departments, and senior management to ensure successful outcomes.Process Evaluation & Optimisation: Apply domain knowledge in HR processes to support the evaluation, design, and refinement of workflows. Collaborate with HR teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency through the new system.Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and bottlenecks throughout the project. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate matters as necessary to ensure the project remains on track.Change Management: Support HR teams and end users with training, user adoption, and change management to ensure smooth transition to the new HRIS. Develop clear documentation and training materials as part of the implementation process.Quality Assurance: Ensure that the HRIS solution meets functional and technical requirements through rigorous testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and troubleshooting.Required Skills and Qualifications:Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading complex HRIS or enterprise system implementations. A formal project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile is highly desirable.Technical HRIS Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR systems, including experience with platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar.
