My client in Vereeniging has a position for: HR SUPERINTENDENT.
The role is responsible for providing life-cycle management capabilities that assist management in supporting employees through every phase of their service within the company, enabling management to find the best people, leverage their talent, align employee goals with business goals and retain top performers.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Manage and facilitate the handling of all internal employee discipline by ensuring that all grievances and disciplinary actions are acted upon according to policies, procedures and standards Provide effective staff movement & recruitment services to line management through conducting recruitment activities aligned to the recruitment process Build and maintain effective stakeholder relations with internal stakeholders (recognized unions and associations, line management and employees) Transformation / Employment Equity Effective change and communication process management Effective people management, ensuring that roles are well defined and clarified and that competencies are developed to human capacity and capability Financial Budgeting & Management Requirements: Degree / National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent, occupationally directed ETD Practice or similar field.
HR Manager Graduate Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 7) 5 years experience in Human Resources Experience in end-to-end HR Experience in project managing an HR related project that included organisational transformation or change management Experience in dealing with trade unions Solid knowledge of mining and other relevant legislation incl: Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act; Mine Health and Safety Act; BBBEE Act, 2003; Minerals Codes of Good Practices; Mining Charter; Labour Relations Act, 1995; Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997; Employment Equity Act, 1998; Skills Development (and Levies) Act, 1998; Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 Strong customer service orientation Knowledge of HR theories and principles, and benchmarks Sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures and legislative requirements in terms of compliance Knowledge of talent management and resourcing as well as HR reporting Stakeholder Management Skills Conflict management skills Project management skills Report writing skills Computer Literacy: MS Office and SAGE/SAP Valid drivers license In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness Advantageous: Coaching & Mentoring, S3 ORMP Supervisory Development
