Our Technical Client is currently looking for a HR & Payroll Assistant based in Cornubia, DBN Report to Group HR Manager Supports human resources with clerical, administrative and payroll dutiesMust have experience with the full function of Payroll from Start to FinishIdeally strong in VIP Premier Payroll / or VIP at least Remuneration:The salary on offer is between R15 000 - R19 000pm inclusive Provident fund Knowledge, skills & abilitiesMatric and/or tertiary qualification in Human ResourcesProven working experience of at least 3 years in an HR/payroll roleMS Office knowledgeMust have VIP Payroll knowledge PayrollAssist in payroll preparation by collecting and providing relevant dataCapturing of all collected data on payroll and ensuring payroll is processed in time for monthly salary releases.Assist in handling and resolving staff queries: Pension Fund/ salaries/leave/medical aid/expense claims/etcEnsure accuracy of payroll Annual reportsAssist in compiling and distributing performance appraisals lettersAssist in EE reportingAssist COIDA reportingAssist with all other annual reporting as and when required by the HR Manager Skills DevelopmentCollecting all training invoices for capturing and update training reconEnsuring branches are equipped with training registerEnsure that all paperwork is collected, sorted and processed for all training done internally and externally Labour RelationsDepartment of Labour Inspections – ensuring branches are equipped in order to be compliant on inspectionMIBCO related correspondence/inspections/compliance/etcEnsuring compliance and payments for relevant legislative departments for this industry (MIBCO/MOISA/RMI)Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential. Recruitment and SelectionLiaising with preferred recruitment agenciesEnsuring that agents receive necessary job specificationAssisting with screening through candidates CV applicationsScheduling interviews for management to conductFollow up with outstanding documents still needed by HR for new recruitsAssist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties by providing clerical and administrative supportManaging staff files and ensuring that they are updated at all times.Do monthly checks that all leave balances are correct and up to dateCollecting time and attendance records from all staffHuman Resources Administration and Month-end reportingProvides secretarial support to the HR Manager by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone and relaying messagesPlease take note: if you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
