Your mission will be to:We currently have a vacancy for a HR Officer in our Midrand branch. This position is for you if you are enthusiastic, have a well-presented personality with natural people skills and you are able to perform a variety of Human Resources tasks with a focus on delivering and maintaining effectiveness within the HR department.Amongst other things you will be responsible for:Recruitment: Manage recruitment process by attracting top talent, processes will include assessing applications, interviewing applicants, giving selection tests, preparing reports and making recommendations to management on staff appointments.Personnel Administration: Maintain and manage the personal records of employees on matters such as wages, leave and training, and prepare associated management reports.Training and Development: Assess organisational needs and individual training needs together with the Training and Development team, for planning and implementing skills development within the organisation.Organisational Development: Use management information systems to record, maintain, plan and manage the organisation's human resources.Provide HR advice and information: Management and employees on personnel policies and procedures, including equal opportunity, anti-discrimination.Performance Management: Guide management and staff on the optimal application of the performance management process and systems.Industrial Relations: Manage internal and external disciplinary and rehabilitation processes.What we are looking for:HR related qualification.Minimum 3 - 5 years proven work experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer.Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.Sound understanding of regulation and compliance administration (BCEA, LRA & SDA).Written communication skills for correspondence, reports and HR content.Results-focused and deadline-oriented.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Able to handle sensitive information confidentially.Above average Excel skills and a strong understanding and interest in data analysis will be advantageous.Closing date for applications is 20 August 2024 at 12:00pm.To apply, please send your CV to ****** and quote "HR OFFICER - MID" in the subject line or hand it directly to the HR Department.
