Duties include:Recruitment, specs for new posts, advertising (internal and external)Coordinate applications, assist with shortlistingAttendance at interviews, post interview correspondence with applicantsGenerate employment contractsNew employee inductions and collation of all documents for new engagementsRegistration of learners with regulatory bodiesSupport to department heads for counselling, dispute resolution, and adjudication mattersAttendee at disciplinary hearings and documentation following hearings, including dismissalsRepresentation at CCMA for low key mattersPlanning and coordination of staff training, including attendance registersInput for the company's Performance Management System, coordinate company-wide performance appraisals, generate and communicate pertinent statisticsGeneral involvement in the health, safety, and welfare of all employees and reporting of unsafe work practices and actsMonitoring and recording staff attendance, contingency plans for absent colleagues, administration of staff leave, sick notes, etc.Undertake submission of annual Skills Plan if applicable, provide pertinent HR-related information for the BBBEE auditsWhen required, liaison with Labournet, advising line managers and employees on pertinent aspects of Labour LawOwnership of HR Policies and Procedures manual, including updatesAdministrator over UIF, medical aid, provident fund, and other company benefitsCoordinate Discovery wellness days, staff briefings by external consultants, and claims administrationProvide such reports as requested by Management around absenteeism, leave, or other HR-related mattersAct as the company's Documents Control Officer and administer the group's document archives housed at Head OfficeWhen required, coordinate staff travel requirements and maintain the file for all staff travel for insurance purposesAny other HR-related tasks not listed above for which the necessary training has been provided to the job incumbentRequirements:Relevant HR qualificationAbility to embrace smooth and efficient HR service for all employees of the organisation's services and related companiesProper maintenance of all employee document files (electronic and hard copy)
