Your role will be pivotal in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring legal compliance, and utilizing data analytics to drive informed HR decisions. Join us in shaping the future of solar energy with a team that values talent and innovation.Daily DutiesRecruitment and SelectionManage the end-to-end recruitment processReview job descriptions and update with the relevant managersAdvertise vacancies, screen resumes, and attend the interviewsThe above to be done in conjunction with the directors and managersOnboarding and OrientationFacilitate the onboarding process for new hiresEnsure new employees have the necessary information, resources, and training to integrate into the companyCapture all the employee information on the payroll systemEnsure all paperwork is completed and filedPrepare and issue the welcome pack for new employees, including the job description, company values, company vision, declaration, and all relevant policies and procedures relating to the positionConduct relevant checks on all new employeesEmployee RelationsImplement ideas and suggestions to enhance employee relationsDesign and execute programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retentionPromote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organisation to foster a positive and inclusive work environmentPerformance ManagementCoordinate performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement with managersIdentify growth opportunities and succession planning opportunitiesAttend to employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary issues with the IR Consultant, company representative, and relevant employeeMediate and resolve conflicts between employees, departments, and/or managementTraining and DevelopmentWill be appointed the Skills Development Facilitator and must ensure compliance with regulations via the training committeeIdentify training requirements and training gaps to facilitate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledgeEngage with employees to ensure effective progress during training courses, learnerships, and external coursesTalent Management - identify high-potential employees and develop talent management strategies to retain and nurture themMust have knowledge of SETA requirements and learnershipsCompensation And BenefitsManage salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits administrationEnsure the company's compensation packages remain competitive and in line with industry standardsHR Policies and ProceduresImplement and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulationsHR AdministrationMaintain employee recordsManage HR databases and handle administrative tasks such as preparing employment contracts and HR reportsManage leave balances and processing with managersHealth and SafetyCollaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and create a safe working environment for employeesAssist managers in completing WCL2 for injury on duty casesExit ManagementAttend exit interviews with IR consultantProcess employee terminations and ensure a smooth offboarding processHR AnalyticsUtilise data and analytics to assess HR metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions related to workforce planning and performanceLegal ComplianceStay updated with employment laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR practices are legally compliantStatutory reporting to be processed - EE/ WSP & ATR and ROEMonitor and report BBBEE compliance relating to skills development and employment equityRequirementsMatric with a HR tertiary qualificationAt least 3 - 5 years' experience in HRStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyStrong leadership characteristicsGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenDriver's licence, computer skills, punctual, accurate and organisedKnowledge of HR legal compliance regulations
