Hr Officer (6-Month Contract)

Our client in the Automotive Industry requires the services of an experienced HR Officer to temporarily join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and diversity initiatives.Assist with employment equity monthly maintenance and annual reporting.Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various HR topics, such as harassment prevention, leadership development, and performance management.Assist with recruitment & selection process by conducting interviews and reference checks.Conduct exit interviews.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.Desired Experience & QualificationThe successful candidate must have:Matric with a Degree in Human Resources or related field.Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role (Motor Industry experience preferable).Experience with Sage People will be advantageous.In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships at all levels.Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.A positive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to take on new tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.If you do send an email to the recruiter directly: please state the position you are applying for.Package & RemunerationTo be discussed during the interview stage.
