About the role:To support the HR Department by managing daily human resources operations, ensuring accuraterecord-keeping of employee information, and assisting in coordinating training and wellness needs.
Thisrole is essential in maintaining the HR integrity of the organization and in helping achieve HR-relatedobjectives in a timely and compliant manner.ResponsibilitiesEmployee Data Management:Maintain accurate and organized employee records and files.Update and manage HR databases with relevant information (e.g., new hires, employee changes, leave records).Assist in the coordination of recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records.Help with the onboarding process by preparing new employee documents and ensuringcompletion of required paperwork.Compliance, Payroll and Benefits Administration:Support the preparation for processing of payroll.Assist with employee benefit enrolment, tracking and withdrawals.Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.Assist with internal and external audits of HR records as needed.Administrative Support:Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing documents, job adverts, maintaining correspondence and scheduling meetings.Conduct Skills Analysis and compile skills plan.Assist in preparing materials for HR presentations and meetings.Instrumental admin duties pertaining Employment Equity.Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.Help coordinate employee engagement activities and training sessions.Liaison:Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee information.Liaise with external agencies, service providers, and partners as needed.Participate in HR meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.Support the HR team with any additional administrative tasks as neededRequirements:South African Unemployed Citizen between the ages of 18 and 34.Must not have participated on the YES Programme before.Basic understanding of HR principles and labour regulations.Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, or a related field.Some experience or coursework in HR or related areas is preferred but not required.Please consider your application unsuccessful when you have not heard from the Signa Opportunity team within two weeks of submitting your application.
