Your key responsibilities will include:Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.Provide expert guidance on labor relations, ensuring compliance with the Labour Relations Act and other applicable regulations.Foster a culture of continuous learning through training programs and career development opportunities.Collaborate with leadership to drive employee engagement and create a supportive work environment.Manage HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives.What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you'll need:A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally in the hospitality, wine, or related industries.In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.Strategic thinking paired with a hands-on approach to HR operations.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Steenberg?At Steenberg, we believe that people are at the heart of our success.
