Job title: Human Resource Manager

Purpose of the PositionThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, creating and maintaining a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
Minimum RequirementsDiploma/Degree: Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Industrial Relations/any related HR field.Experience: 5 – 7 years' experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.Supervisory Experience: 3 years' supervisory experience.Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Staffing:
• Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Conduct onboarding processes to welcome new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Facilitate the development of clear and detailed job descriptions for all positions.Employee Relations:
• Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
• Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, bonuses, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure that compensation and benefits packages remain competitive.Training and Development:
• Identify training and development needs to enhance employee skills, competencies, and performance.
• Develop and deliver training programs on various topics.Performance Management:
• Develop, facilitate, and implement performance management processes.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance expectations.Compliance and Legal:
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Develop and enforce HR policies that align with legal requirements.Talent Management:
• Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract and retain top talent.HR Administration:
• Maintain accurate HR records and administer HRIS and other HR software platforms.Employee Engagement and Wellness:
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.Strategic Planning and HR Leadership:
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership on HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.Organizational Development:
• Promote a positive organizational culture through team-building activities.HR Reporting:
