Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Manager to lead and manage the human resources and payroll functions within our organization.
This pivotal role requires someone with strong expertise in HR, payroll administration, and employment law.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing CCMA cases, ensuring compliance with South African labour laws, and fostering a positive, legally compliant work environment.
You will play an integral part in driving HR strategies, improving employee relations, and overseeing payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee payments.
Manage HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and company policies.
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
Maintain employee records and manage HR reporting.
Represent the company at the CCMA and other relevant forums.
Manage disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in HR management, with significant experience in payroll administration.
Proven experience in attending and representing the company at CCMA cases, resolving disputes in a legally compliant manner.
Proficient in HR software and payroll systems.
Strong understanding of South African labour laws, CCMA procedures, and best HR practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
