The purpose of this role is to maintain and enhance the organisations human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices.
This manufacturing concern is located in the Southern Peninsula (far south of Cape Town).
Requirements, Qualification & Experience: Degree in Human Resources Management or related field5 years experience in a similar role with proven track record in managing HR functionsExperience in using various types of HR systems, HR metricsSound knowledge of HR processes & procedures and legal complianceIn-depth knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EE, BBB-EE, POPI and PAIA Acts and HR best practices, policies and regulationsSage 300 People experience is preferential Responsibilities HR Leadership: Build, lead and mentor the HR department to ensure efficient and effective HR operations.
Manage Office Administrator and Housekeeping staffOnboarding: Develop and oversee the onboarding process for all internal and external employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experienceOffboarding: Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, knowledge transfer and ensuring compliance with company policiesTalent Management: Collaborate with management team to ensure the right talent is appointed and retainedHR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategies and keep HR policies updatedTalent Relations: Address and resolve team issues and conflicts providing support and guidance as neededCompliance: Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and internal policies (all statutory and legal compliance)Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals and development plansTraining and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance talent skills and performanceCompany Culture: Manage and promote a positive company culture that aligns with our values and missionBudgets: Plan and prepare budgets relating to the HR function and ensure that budgets are adhered toAudits: Prepare audit packs and participate in audits
