HR ManagerOur client, based in Durban South, is searching for an HR Manager to join their team. This is a contract role with a possibility of permanent employment. The client is in the manufacturing industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & SelectionEnsure and inspect that all Recruitment and Selection requirements are met and that all administrators are maintaining the information and training, in accordance with the company policies and procedures.Training & DevelopmentInternship, Learnership & Bursary administration as per Seta requirements and adherence to submission dates.Ensure skills audits in Training Needs Analysis are compiled.Manage Development plans.Ensure a Training Matrix and Training plan is in place and adhered to (including leadership skills and keeping succession in mind).Maintain Training administration on HR system as per Seta and BBBEE compliance requirements.Ensure divisional ATR & WSP are complete.Achieve EE progress in line with legislation to achieve transformation.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Performance ManagementAssist with Performance Management initiatives for area of responsibility.Clearly defined performance expectations linked to divisional objectives.Ensure clear annual performance agreements are in place.Quarterly Performance feedback to be conducted.Management of poor performance.Conduct Audits to ensure compliance with PM procedures.Analyse performance management data to track trends.Manage attendance and absenteeism.Employment Equity & BBBEEAlignment of EE and BBBEE guidelines and interventions as required by the business.Co-ordinate and conduct audit preparation for the Skills Development BBBEE element.Ensure audit and verification processes are maintained.Ensure the integrity of data and documentation of elements requirements.Assist with compilation and coordination of submission of annual regulatory and compliance reports for EE and ATR/WSP.Assist with EE Plan Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation.Quarterly reporting.Assist with coordinating EE committee initiatives.Monitor transformation and BBBEE legislative changes and updates.Employee/Labour RelationsAdvise managers on personnel management issues and employee disciplinary actions.Assist employees with resolution of grievances in consultation with line management.Assist in the investigation of all disciplinary matters.Collaborate with management and RMI in respect to disciplinary management.Conduct meetings with shop stewards and employee representatives.Conduct wage negotiations with COMPANY management and employees.Manage relationships with trade unions.Maintain compliance with labour laws and regulations.Effective Human Resource Administration and ReportingAssist Executive HR with strategic objectives.Policy writing and implementation.Employment contracts, personnel files, all documentation for new and existing employees.Payroll input & support.Handle administration problems for all employees.Ensure all employees' data is uploaded.Compile monthly human resources statistics.Attending to Internal Audit requirements for Human Resources.AdminManage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).Manage general security issues.General maintenance in cleaning of offices, canteen, ablutions & factory floor.Receive & send courier.Book visitors' accommodation and flight bookings for employees.Maintain records, documentation, and files.Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs.Negotiate and liaise with third-party service providers.ITIT – Software, Printers & PCs faults & PO's.Troubleshoot problems with systems and programs.Ensure the company's IT equipment (PCs, laptops, WIFI) is up to date and functioning.Desired Experience & Qualification4 plus years of HR experience with BBBEE, IR, and the whole HR function.Qualifications: A certificate/degree/honours in HR or a related field.Package & RemunerationOther Sectors & Industries
