Job Description:This is a dynamic role and the incumbent will be responsible to manage the full payroll and administration function for two legal entities in South Africa. This role manages multiple payrolls which includes both Salaries and Wages, processed monthly and weekly. This role reports directly to the Payroll & Employee Manager.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Collaborate in providing reliable data and information for effective business decision making;Custodian of statutory requirements, calculations, deductions and payments of, but not limited to – SARS, PAYE, UIF, SDL, E-filing, COIDA and Bargaining Council;Manage payroll and administration internal and external audit responsibilities and implement corrective actions;Effective and prompt internal and external stakeholder query resolution;Manage the full payroll employee life cycle and administration process;Undertake special & ad hoc projects on an on-going basis.Process journals, reports, inter company charges and GL reconciliation related to payroll finance responsibilities ;Manage workflow and bank loadings to ensure timeous and accurate processing of the salary and wage payrolls;Ensure data integrity in payroll databases and associated HRIS;Adhere to business and external timeline requirements for mandatory and ad hoc report submissions;Accurate calculation and payment of conditions of employment in line with legislation, regulatory agreements and relevant policies;Adhere to policies and procedures, provide advice and assistance to employees within the specified guidelines;Registration, administration, deduction and payments of respective employee benefits ;Job Requirements:Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
