Assist the HR Manager with the implementation of all human resources strategies and objectivesRecruitment and selection of all positions from unskilled to junior managementAssist the HR Manager with the implementation of talent management, succession planning, Engagement surveys, employee wellness initiatives and all HR related projectsAssist with the review of the company policies and procedures on a regular basisProvide efficient and accurate HR administration service to all departmentsDevelop and maintain job descriptions for all employeesComplete letters of appointment and contracts for all employeesFacilitate induction/onboarding for all new employeesEnsure all exit interviews are conducted and reported monthlyIdentify training and development opportunitiesRegistered / on a process of being a registered Skills Development Facilitator for the CompanyComplete and submit Mandatory Skills Development reports to CHIETAEnsure that training is booked in accordance with WSP and Pivotal PlansCoordinates/monitors all training activitiesHR Representative for the Transformation Committee MeetingImplement and maintain record keeping systems for all internal and external trainingImplement and maintain record keeping systems for annual Employment Equity reporting to Dept. of LabourManage and support management and employees with development plansMaintain record keeping systems for BBBEEIdentify opportunities to promote equality, diversity and employee wellnessAdvise / guide management and employees on labour legislation/mattersAttend disciplinary hearings as the HR RepresentativeEnsure that all discipline/hearings are procedurally and substantively correctProvide advice and recommendations to managers and employees on conflict managementAttend monthly shop steward meetingsHandle all grievancesConduct performance management training with all new or promoted junior/middle managersAssist with reviewing human resources policies, processes and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives and to enhance employee satisfaction and commitmentProvides advice on human resources issues to employees and managementDevelops new employee onboarding/induction processesEnsure employee starter packs are completed for new employeesEnsures the consistent interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures by acting as a resource to managersCoordinates all employee recognition programsHandle medical aid queries and related documentationHandle pension/provident fund queries and related documentationComplete monthly HR ReportsComplete UI19 forms for terminated employeesComplete Certificates of Service for terminated employeesCreate and maintain personnel files for all employeesAccurate and timeous completion of all HR related administrationSound knowledge of South African labour legislation (BBBEE, BCEA, LRA)
