HR GENERALIST - Century City, Western CapeR38k - R40k Per Month excluding benefits (depending on experience)Our Client, Multi-national Financial Services concern, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide support with their dynamic HR team.One would describe you as being a highly organised, adaptable, resilient and solutions orientated teamplayer who has a people-centric approach.You are a dedicated multi-tasker and strong communicator who places particular emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. Further to this you have excellent judgement, interpersonal and decision making skills and ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality. Job Purpose:The Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist plays a critical role in managing day-to-day HR operations while providing strategic support to the Business. This role serves as a key partner to management and employees, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations and fostering a high-performance culture. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of the HR function. Serves as a first point of contact in addressing inquiries, and concerns and providing guidance on human capital policies and procedures.The emphasis for this role is on:Learning and DevelopmentEmployee Onboarding, Induction, and OrientationExecuting HR initiatives across the groupFacilitate Staff events and Employee Wellness Minimum Requirements:Human Resources Related Qualification (Certificate, Diploma, Degree)5 - 7 years proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist role (preferably within the Financial Services or related industry background)Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Proven ability to understand and implement HR requirements, policies, and proceduresIn-depth knowledge of HR principles, labour laws, and regulationsExperience with Employment Equity and Skills reporting and Training and DevelopmentProficiency in HRIS systems Responsibilities:HR Initiatives ImplementationResponsible for the development, implementation and execution of HR Strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectivesInterpret and ensure consistent application of company policies, labour laws, and HR best practicesRecommend updates to HR policies and procedures to reflect the latest labour amendmentsEmployee Engagement and WellnessOrganise staff events, and recognition programs and drive employee wellbeingEmployee Relations and Workplace CultureAct as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issuesProvide support to employees during challenging situations like personal crises and organizational changesConduct investigations into employment relations issues, grievances, policy violations and ensuring fairness and complianceManage sensitive situations such as mediating and facilitating conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environmentRecruitment, Onboarding, Induction and OrientationCollaborate with hiring managers to identify needs and lead the recruitment effortsOversee the hiring process, including job requests, advertising, interviewing, and selectionFacilitate the onboarding process to integrate new employees successfully into the organizationResponsible for drafting the orientation agenda, arranging relevant presenters, and any other related resourcesLearning and DevelopmentIdentify training needs and develop and recommend programs to enhance employee skills and performanceSupport leadership development initiatives and succession planningIndependently coordinate all learning and training and support employee development initiativesConduct training sessions on HR-related topics such as performance management and any HR related topicCompensation and Benefits AdministrationGuide compensation structures, benefit programs, and support with training when necessaryEnsuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits-related activitiesHR Metrics and ReportingCollect and analyse HR data to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover rates, and engagementUse HR Systems to streamline and improve data accuracySupport with reports for Senior Management on HR metrics and initiativeCompliance and Risk ManagementResponsible for spearheading the Employment Equity, Skills, and Health & Safety complianceManage audits and ensure that documentation of HR processes and procedures is seamlessly recorde
