A forward-thinking company in the healthcare technology sector is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage recruitment and employee relations. This role is integral in maintaining a positive workplace culture, ensuring effective communication between staff and management, and implementing HR policies that align with the company's innovative and supportive ethos.This is a hybrid position; the HR Generalist is required to spend at least two days per week in the office (JHB North).Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding:Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, ensuring they are addressed promptly and fairly. Manage disciplinary actions and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Facilitate employee development and training programs to enhance performance and engagement.Performance Management:Implement and manage performance evaluation systems to drive employee development and productivity. Work with managers to establish KPIs and provide feedback on employee performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and develop improvement plans as necessary.Policy Development:Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect the company's goals and ensure legal compliance. Provide guidance to management on HR-related issues and best practices.Relationship Building:Foster a positive work environment by building strong relationships with employees at all levels. Organize team-building activities and events to promote a cohesive and motivated workforce.Required Skills And AttributesA strong personality with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with employees and management.A warm, mature, and approachable demeanor, with the ability to build trust and rapport with staff.Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with the ability to hit the ground running.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to think critically and solve problems proactively.QualificationsA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a technology-driven environment.Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a company dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative technology solutions.
