Ivanplats is looking for aHR Coordinator Operations, IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this "mine of the future". Purpose of the role:
This role is an operational role within the HR structure responsible for effective deployment and development of operations labour as well as good employee relations. The HR Coordinator - Operations role forms an integral part of the Operational Management team, with the responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness of the human resources within the Operations. The incumbent is responsible for HR Service delivery to the Production Manager.

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
Min of 5 years Human Resources experience, of which 2 years in the mining environment in a similar positionEmpowerment: helping customers to acquire the skills needed to implement HR management practices competently.Continuous improvement: Seeks opportunities to improve HR business processes in one's own area of responsibility by identifying and communicating more effective ways to operate to address business needs.The ability to take a systematic and integrated approach to data analytics and measurement-Builds spreadsheet models to calculate financial impact of HR initiatives within own process area, translating people metrics into economic costs and benefits.
