Our client is seeking a HR Compliance Officer to join their team, based in Grahamstown.Suitable candidate will be required to develop and implement standardized procedures and documentation across all units of the business and ensure ongoing compliance and adherence, including but not limited to OHS, BCEA, farm workers sectorial determination and any other laws/ acts relevant.Minimum Requirements:-Human Resources / Project Management or Law qualification (degree preferable)Certificate or equivalent experience in Project Management preferableMinimum 2 years experience in Project Management or Human Resources and Labour Relations environmentLiaising with diverse teams and colleagues to achieve the desired outcomesConducting trainingEngaging at all levels in order to ensure stakeholder collaborationSpecific Agricultural industry experience will be beneficialMust be fluent in XhosaExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Digital affinityAttention to detail and compliance-orientatedCoordination and planning skillsMust be prepared to travel, if requiredAbility to work independently is essentialDuties:-Ensure compliance for all units on Health & SafetyEnsure compliance for all units on Water and SanitisationEnsure compliance for all units on all Department of Labour inspections and drive inspection with unit* Health & Safety* BCEA (including farm workers sectorial determination)* COIDA* Housing* Water & Sanitization* Other Ensure any compliance orders are monitored and corrective action implemented timeouslyBuild key knowledge on all relevant areas of law / actsBuild and implement procedures and standard documentationAssist in disciplinary enquiriesDrive DoL inspections and ad-hoc HR auditsAssist in any other supporting function for the HR team
