HR Business Partner (Mid-Senior Level) We are looking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner to join us on a permanent basis.

We currently have a team of 4 HR professionals within the Africa HR team serving a client base of some 150 employees, made up of Consulting and Support staff spread across our African offices, the majority of which sit in South Africa.

This is a great role for an established HR Business Partner with a keen interest in developing their skills and knowledge in a personable management consulting environment. The ideal individual will have a collaborative and positive approach. This role will require occasional travel to other ERM offices across Africa.

Responsibilities include: Partner, support, and influence stakeholders at various levels of the business. Regularly meet with Leaders to discuss team and individual performance, using insights to offer solutions and recommendations for change. Coach line managers to have effective conversations and work with TLs to create/maintain a high-performance culture. Collaborate across the Shared Service and COE teams to implement people and business initiatives across Leadership, L&D, Performance Management, Change Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Reward. Provide relevant HRMI for the Business, HRM, and HRD, conducting analysis and offering insights to suggest improvements. Guide leaders through the HR annual cycle (e.g., Talent review, Salary and Bonus Reviews). Understand the recruitment pipeline and align resourcing needs with BU needs, considering succession and talent pipelines. Support HR BPs and line managers on the full spectrum of ER issues, escalating complex cases as necessary. Review and update HR policies and documentation, consulting with key stakeholders to implement changes. Advise on mobility moves. Conduct exit interviews, reporting insights and data to HRBPs/HRD. Assist with any queries escalated from the HR inbox. Capture and track key data to provide accurate MI reporting to identify root causes and trends. Deal with policy queries and apply Company policy pragmatically. Drive internal HR process improvement. Mentor junior members of the HR team. Travel will be required only occasionally. Skills and experience: HRBP experience within a professional and commercial organization. Self-confident, enthusiastic, and a self-motivating go-getter. Experience in mentoring and supporting managers or staff in achieving optimum performance. Proactive and positive attitude with involvement in continuous improvement. Robust experience managing a full spectrum of ER cases with the ability to coach line managers. Ability to interpret and apply company HR policy and procedures practically. Up-to-date knowledge and application of employment legislation. Strong listening, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. Good data analysis and reporting skills. We are currently operating a hybrid/flexible working policy. 8 days per month in the office, with flexibility for more frequent attendance if preferred.
