We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner in the Rosebank area for a company within the Financial Services industry to support the company in driving HR best practices and human capital development.Requirements:Matric qualificationBachelor's degree in Human Resources/Industrial PsychologyHR experience, minimum 2-5 years' within a senior roleFinancial services industry experienceSkills Development experienceIn-Depth knowledge of various South African Labour legislation e.g.: BCEA, LRA, SD, FSC code and EEInteraction with Senior and Executive managementSkills:Prepare presentations, reports, policiesComputer Literacy MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint a must)Excellent communication skills – written and spokenAble to operate under pressureDeadline and performance orientatedMotivatedDriven individualTeam playerStrong work ethicLeadership skillsHigh EQAble to build and maintain relationships internally and externallyAble to deal with sensitive matters in a mature and professional mannerApproachable and open minded individualAble to always maintain confidentialitySummary:The HR Business Partner Role requires someone who is able to support the COO and CFO in driving HR best practices and human capital development. The HRBP will report directly to the CFO/COO and will be responsible for supporting the directors in recruitment, developing employees and focusing on developing and implementing strategies to retain top talent within the firm.Responsibilities:Assist with implementing HR Strategy that is aligned to the company's values, promoting an organizational culture, employee productivity and wellness, collaboration, teamwork, excellence, superior service, transparency, diversity, accountability, and innovation.Create development plans for all employees by engaging with employees on a regular basis and provide coaching to employees where applicable.Develop and update job profiles for all positions.Ensure all employee-related matters are dealt with in a sensitive and respectful manner.Assist Directors with recruitment activities, coordinating interviews with Directors, conducting exit interviews, assessing and evaluating candidates for select positions, drafting offer letters, and maintaining related documentation.Conduct and coordinate new employee onboarding to ensure employees understand company policies, procedures, employee benefits, and the probationary review.Coordinate all internal and external training.Manage the Learnership programme and ensure timely annual reporting.Manage the CE programme and ensure timely annual reporting.Participate in the Employment Equity Committee and Social and Ethics Committee.Collaborate with Finance in ensuring BBB-EE scorecard requirements are met.Update HR policies for the company that are aligned with best practice and Labour Relations.Prepare HR-related documents and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Prepare, submit, and administer EE reports, Workplace Skills Plan, and Annual Training reports.Assist with liaising with various employee benefit providers and foster effective relationships to address all employee queries.Monitor proceedings of disciplinary hearings with the appointed independent chair by guiding management to ensure fairness and consistency in all disciplinary matters.Submit and administer IOD claims to the Compensation Fund.Keep up to date with all Department of Labour Gazettes and ensure timely implementation of compulsory requirements.Drive all CSI-related initiatives for the firm, e.g., company Education Trust.Assist with Labour Department requested audits.Other ad-hoc administrative and compliance-related tasks.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
