Be accountable for full compliance in line with local legislation, company policies and proceduresFocus on Healthcare Groups HR Governance and Learning and DevelopmentFramework, including the submission of Audit Reports and WSP/ATRCommunicate, ensure implementation and maintain compliance with values, behaviours, local HR policies, practices, procedures, local labour laws and regulationAct as the HRBP for the Commercial organization Effective Business PartneringCoach, build, enable manager capability and effectiveness by ensuring that practices and processes are aligned with the business and HR strategiesAct as business partner locally and for FWA, facilitator, trusted advisor and coach on all HR related issues for the businesses, under the guidance of the HRManager and/or designateCoach managers to effectively drive execution of annual and daily processes:Performance ManagementAnnual Compensation processes in alignment with globally practicesTalent Acquisition (i.e. recruitment, offers, onboarding etc).Talent Management Process, succession planning, performance management processChange ManagementEnsure HR Administration excellence across all operations and functions within the Business UnitSupport the Business with appropriate HR practices to facilitate business transformationActively build relationships and network with business team and line management through communicating appropriately and proactively providing solutions to address business needsWork with line managers to identify key trends, shifts or issues relating to people that impact on strategy delivery and ensure that an effective HR plan is in place address these issues Learning & DevelopmentFacilitate the WSP/ATR process by, collating of data on relevant spreadsheetEnsure completed plan is submitted by end April of each year (as per SETA reporting timelines)Apply for relevant Discretionary Grants (DG) during the appropriate windowsEnsure that relevant deliverables (reports) for DGs are submitted to SETA by submission date/sEnsures Skills Development is optimised through Learnerships and proper administration and recording of all training interventionsImplement a Skills Matrix for all employees and maintain the databasePlan all training sessions (Internal & External) in line with Skills Matrixand Training BudgetStandardise non-GMP training reporting to HR DepartmentManage the training on-line system via the e-LMS systemLearnership: Delivering the yearly Sales Learnership (On-boarding, Graduation, Off-boarding, absorption into the business) Recruitment/ Talent Management/ Success planningImplement, drive and manage a fair and consistent recruitment practice that is aligned to the EE ActManage the engagement of successful candidates by ensuring that all the required documents are completed and signed and processed through PayrollRecruit, select and place candidates in terms of agreed recruitment and selection process and turnaround times requiredCreate HR documentation such as employee contracts and ad hoc letters Industrial RelationsProvide advice and support to Line Managers on Disciplinary and Grievance mattersEnsures full HR / IR compliance with all labour related (and other relevant) legislation, including BCEA, LRA, SDA, OHASA, etc.Facilitate adherence to HR policies and proceduresManagement of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) Corporate Social Initiatives (CSI)Run initiatives a minimum of once a quarterManage and maintain relationships with the relevant beneficiaries and/or key Stakeholders HR GovernanceProvide requested HR information for all Internal and External audits (Deloitte/ PWC/ QA/ COIDA/ Dept of Labour audits and site visits)Own the process of assessing and submitting documentation for HR AuditsSubmit information for Compensation & Benefit Bench Marking processes as well as identify and recommend areas of opportunity to improve PayrollSolid understanding of reconciling billings: Discovery Medical Aid/ AF Pension and Provident FundUnderstand and process end-to-end Disability Claims and Funeral ClaimsReview monthly payroll and verify input against instructions from the FWA teamReview and ensure sign off by relevant parties of the monthly payroll variances against the input HR Digital/ SystemsEnsure that data on Bamboo HR is up to date, assisting with HR related Informetica queriesCustodian of the Performance Management System, CollaboratorHR Digital Components: Surveys/ presentations / systemsPolicies and ProceduresRedrafting and revising all HR policies and procedures, in line with the Business needs, current legislation and best market practiceTrack updates and make changes (if necessary) before specified expiry datesGenerate Change Control (CCs) for all policy updates, revisions, etc. Qualifying Requirements Pre- requisite related bachelors degreePost-graduate qualification advantageous, specialising in HR/ Industrial or Organisational PsychologyMinimum 4 - 6 years HR experience within the pharmaceutical/ medical industry, for a multinational organisation.
