Hr Assistant

Minimum Job Requirements: Matric essential. Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in an HR role. Familiarity with Employment Laws and Regulations. Responsibilities: Maintain and update personnel files to ensure all employee transactions are recorded. Contribute to the improvement of internal filing systems. Assist HR department in compiling required documents for audit. Assist in scheduling all training interventions. Maintain the integrity of Employment Equity records. Assist in drafting Employment Equity minutes and attendance registers. Provide regulatory leave reports. Provide support with Employee Self Service Portal (ESS). Control and check leave data, requesting additional documentation when required. Manage and monitor recruitment mailbox. Participate in the recruitment process-screening applications. Create recruitment schedules and interview packs. Participate in organising vacation work programmes - induction of all students. Competencies: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Build relationships at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills.
