DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: We have an opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to join a large player in the manufacturing industry. The HR and Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing the full HR and Payroll Function for the Company. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Relevant qualification in the HR Field5 years' or more experience in a similar HR roleStrong experience, working with perm and temp payroll.Knowledge and Experience in BEE and WSR and ATR submissionsStrong staff management skills and experienceExperience with SAGE Payroll system highly advantageousMaintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all timesExcellent time management and organizational skillSGood presentation skillsRESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and maintain employee recordsUpdate all internal databases – eg. training tracker, disciplinary records, performance appraisals, employee movement and BEEPrepare HR documents such as employment contracts, extension, acknowledgement letters (Starter and termination packs)Revise and draft company policiesAssist with employee queries on HR-related issues and chair disciplinary hearingsManage the full process in terms of BEE and EE data submissionWSR and ATR submissionsResponsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date HR filesResponsible for UIF related queries, company registration and monthly employer's declarationAdminister the payroll on Sage (time and attendance sheets to emailing of payslips)Draft written and final warnings and assist managers and employees during the hearing processSubmission of WCA as well as IOD record keeping and online submissionsAssist with the full training coordination (and utilising SDL training benefits) as well as learnership managementAssist with any other Ad-hoc queriesDo you see yourself as the successful HR and Payroll Manager at this leading Company?
