Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or Payroll would be beneficial. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and payroll management. Comprehensive knowledge of local employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in payroll processing software and systems. (experience with Psiber would be beneficial). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and organized with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience with CCMA CON/ARB processes. Roles and Responsibilities Administer the entire payroll process, including verifying and processing employee time and attendance, calculating and distributing salaries, and maintaining accurate payroll records. Oversee all facets of employee onboarding and offboarding, such as conducting new hire orientations, processing necessary paperwork, and facilitating exit interviews. Ensure compliance with local employment regulations, including reporting requirements, tax filings, and adherence to labor laws. Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation and industry best practices. Offer guidance and support to employees on HR-related queries, including benefits, payroll, and company policies. Investigate employee complaints or grievances and collaborate with management to achieve suitable resolutions.
