Purpose Statement
The role is responsible for working closely with the HR Managers for Labour Relations and providing support for HR projects.
Key responsibilities include HR Business Partnering assistance and support services to the Central Region, SSH, and UQS, as well as HR administrative and support services to relevant business entities and branches.

Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position
Labour Relations
Guide and advise operational teams on Labour Relations, grievances, and disciplinary inquiries.
Assist with the formulation of disciplinary charges for hearings.
Ensure consistency by reviewing and approving findings and outcomes of disciplinary hearings.
Draft CCMA related forms and documents.
Manage CCMA cases/files.
HR Consultancy & Support Services
Build business relationships with operational management teams and staff.
Deliver HR support and advisory services.
Translate key challenges into HR solutions.
Ensure continuous improvement of operational HR support services.
Act as a liaison between specialist HR portfolios and operational customers.
Provide integrated HR support services across the employee life cycle.
Assist operational management teams in HR and succession planning.
Support the implementation of HR projects as required.
Assist with selection interviews and change management interventions.
HR Governance and Compliance
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Assist managers with implementing new HR policies and guidelines.
Handle exemption applications.
Administration
Process ISO forms and documents.
Prepare monthly HR and Labour Relations reports.
Conduct bi-annual reporting on social and ethics.
Implement Employment Equity policy decisions.
Draft and formulate reports.
Qualifications
Minimum: Grade 12
Recommended: HR / Labour Relations Qualification
