MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3 years experience in a house keeping manager role within a small LUXURY hospitality environment Clear Criminal Record Clear Credit ITC Record Proven refrences Hotel Management Diploma and/or equivalent qualification will be anadvantage DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage & supervise housekeeping staff Ensures inter-departmental co-operation, working collaboratively with other departmental heads to ensure maximum effectiveness and output for all partments occurs. Makes daily checks on rooms and other facilities to ensure the standards have been met, and daily operational timings adhered to. Keeping records and performs stocktaking exercises Manage all receiving, storing and control of all Housekeeping supplies, equipment, linen and uniforms Maintains an excellent and courteous relationship with guests Performs additional management duties within the hotel environment. Reports any maintenance defects to the Maintenance Department timeously Performs whatever additional duties that Senior management deems fit CORE COMPETENCIES Ability to work in a pressurized environment Willingness to work flexible time Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills Presentable, well-spoken individual
