Housekeeping Manager
Kendrick Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a
Housekeeping Manager
at a prestigious luxury estate in Franschhoek. If you're an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining high standards, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and train the housekeeping team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the estate.
Develop and implement effective housekeeping policies and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest services.
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and manage the ordering process.
Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably within luxury hospitality.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
