We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Housekeeping Manager
to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilies:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and attractiveness of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and policies to maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with hotel guidelines and regulations.
Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and promptly address any deficiencies or maintenance issues.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage and usage to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to coordinate guest requests, room assignments, and maintenance activities, ensuring seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and staff performance evaluations, and prepare reports as required by management.
Minimum criteria:
Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of housekeeping staff.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and industry standards, with a focus on attention to detail and quality assurance.
Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
