Housekeeping Attendant - Bantry Bay

Award winning Boutique Hotel in Bantry Bay is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant.
Responsible for the housekeeping maintenance of the Public Areas
Ensure that any maintenance issues are reported to HOD / Duty Manager
Report any valuables eft lying around to the HOD / Duty Manager.
Check for guest laundry in accordance with the HK laundry standard operating procedure
Overall cleaning and tidying of occupied guestrooms according to standards
Ensure Spa areas are cleaned daily according to Standard operating procedure
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the housekeeping storeroom / office.
All chemicals , consumables , guest amenities , operating equipment and magazines are stored correctly
Responsible for cleaning the stores
Ensure that all operating equipment are cleaned and packed away in its proper place at the end of every shift
Ensure that all breakages are reported to HOD / DM.
Ensure that all breakable items are handled with care
Assist in the monthly stock take of housekeeping operational equipment
Reduce the number of breakages and wastage
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that any faulty equipment is reported to HOD / DM as soon as possible.
Report, record and hand over all items all lost & found items in at Housekeeping and / or authorized Duty Manager
Aid guest and colleagues in a courteous manner
In the absence of the HOD and the Housekeeping Supervisor, the designated Housekeeper attends the morning briefing meetings.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a 5* property
Excellent verbal communication skills in English
Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards
Active listening skills
Ability to follow specific instructions
Ability to follow repretitive actions consistantly
Organised and self-disciplined
Ability to adapt and to work under pressure
Must be a team player
