Hotel Reservationist

Key Responsibilities: Answer and direct all incoming calls efficiently and professionally. Assist guests with queries, reservations, and requests over the phone. Coordinate with various hotel departments (housekeeping, room service, maintenance) to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. Handle emergency calls and communicate effectively with relevant personnel. Provide information about the hotels services, facilities, and local attractions. Log and relay messages accurately to guests and hotel staff. Maintain knowledge of room availability and booking statuses. Ensure all phone communications follow the hotel's standards for etiquette and professionalism. Requirements: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. Previous experience in a customer service or switchboard role is preferred but not essential. Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Polite, patient, and service-oriented with a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with basic computer systems and switchboard software.
