Hotel Maintenance Supervisor (M/F)

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team of Pestana Kruger Lodge - South Africa.The Pestana Hotel Group is the largest Portuguese hotel group with more than 100 hotels in 16 countries across three continents.Key Responsibilities:The physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment are in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.Ensuring all systems operate to regulatory standards, all property assets are constantly maintained to the highest level and all legally mandated safety operating systems/criteria are adhered to by all.Accountable for managing budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.Additional responsibilities include training, mentoring and the development of the engineering team, scheduling of employees, directing and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure efficient management of engineering/hotel operations.Will report to General Manager and advise him when specialist intervention is required.Key Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience at a Maintenance Manager level or facilities engineer in a Hospitality related environment.Vocational certificate or diploma in electronics or technical studies, or degree in hotel maintenance.Extensive knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety operating systems.Hands-on approach.If your profile matches with this description and you are eager for a new challenge, please send us your CV in English.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionCustomer Service and ManagementIndustriesTravel Arrangements
