Hotel Food And Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:
Plan and implement budgets
Ensure correct handling procedures to minimize china and glassware breakage and food waste
Implement and monitor consistency of food and beverage policies and procedures
Manage physical inventory
Assist in planning and implementing procedures for special club events and banquet functions
Ensure that all health, hygiene and safety standards are consistently met
Maintain appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
Hire, train and supervise subordinates within the beverage department
Oversee recruitment of staff in housekeeping department
Audit monthly payroll for beverage and housekeeping department
Greet guests and oversee actual service on a regular basis to ensure consistency of service
Address member and guest complaints
Develop on-going professional development and training programs for service and bar production / service personnel
Requirements:
Minimum 7-10 years experience in similar role within the Hospitality industry - Restaurant Manager / Food and Beverage Manager essential
Three-year hospitality or club management qualification beneficial but not essential
