A well-regarded dining establishment within a hotel chain is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager with 7-10 years relevant experience. The perfect candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:Plan and implement budgets.Ensure correct handling procedures to minimize china and glassware breakage and food waste.Implement and monitor consistency of food and beverage policies and procedures.Manage physical inventory.Assist in planning and implementing procedures for special club events and banquet functions.Ensure that all health, hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.Maintain appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.Hire, train and supervise subordinates within the beverage department.Oversee recruitment of staff in housekeeping department.Audit monthly payroll for beverage and housekeeping department.Greet guests and oversee actual service on a regular basis to ensure consistency of service.Address member and guest complaints.Develop ongoing professional development and training programs for service and bar production/service personnel.Requirements:Minimum 7-10 years experience in similar role within the Hospitality industry - Restaurant Manager / Food and Beverage Manager.Three-year hospitality or club management qualification beneficial but not essential.
