Location: Benoni, Gauteng Salary: CTC R15,000 R30,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications) Position Overview: As the Lead Solar PV Installer, you will be responsible for the complete installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including both residential and small commercial projects. You must possess strong electrical knowledge and will work with the team to install PV systems on rooftops or ground-mounted structures, ensuring adherence to the original design and specifications. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Collaborate with the General Manager to review project plans and drawings, ensuring installations are carried out as designed. Work alongside team members to complete projects within the established timeframe, following policies and procedures. Assemble solar system racking, properly seal roof penetrations, and install all related equipment. Set up solar monitoring systems and maintain high levels of quality assurance with a focus on safety. Diagnose and resolve system and operational issues. Required Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar installations (applications without solar or electrical experience will not be considered).
