Applications are invited for the following post:HIGH SCHOOL:History TeacherCommencement date: 1 January 2025 (Negotiable)St Patrick's College is an East Griqualand (Kokstad) country school, with a strong emphasis on the outdoors.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:Teach History (Grade 8 – 12)Engender a healthy environment for pupil development and learning.Be prepared to work according to the St Patrick's College Christian ethos and according to Governing Body policies.Interact and communicate well with teenagers.Have competent interpersonal skills.Have the capacity to develop and sustain new teaching and learning ideas.Demonstrate an understanding of Ed Tech (e.g., Google classroom) and how to use it to advance teaching and learning in a senior school environment.REQUIREMENTS:A BA (plus PGCE) is required or B.Ed.
