Location: EMEA.

They seamlessly blend client-facing responsibilities with deep technical expertise, ensuring they not only meet client expectations but also deliver high-quality, technically sound solutions for various on-site, online or hybrid events.
The Role- key responsibilities You will lead a team of project managers, focusing on team leadership, performance management, change management, and fostering a client-oriented atmosphere.
With your strong communication abilities and proactive leadership, you will promote a team culture where the customer is king, and strive to produce the "WOW effect" with every customer.The overall KPI for the Project Management Team is to ensure that the delivery of events leads to "happy and returning customers".1.
Proactive Leadership Lead, mentor, and motivate the project management team to deliver exceptional service and create a "WOW effect" for clients.
Lead the team with assertiveness and a clear, vocal presence to increase engagement and buy-in.
Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
Implement and manage change initiatives effectively within the team to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
Encourage adaptability and resilience among team members when facing new processes or challenges.

Performance Management Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs and promotions.
Serve as a direct point of escalation for issues arising from the performance of direct reports.
Provide input and approval (if required) to Operations Managers regarding event assignment based on the performance of project managers.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment where excellence is recognized and rewarded.

Intra- and inter- Department Collaboration: Promote open and transparent communication within the team, encouraging regular feedback sharing and collaboration.
Promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure team members feel heard and valued, and that their input is incorporated into decision-making processes.
Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.

Coordination and Reporting Act as escalation PoC and engage with other departments to resolve escalations.
Actively engage the Head of Department for timely resolution of any significant client issues.

Documentation and Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Proactively collect feedback from different stakeholders and translate it into actions.
Create documentation and procedures for internal use.
Lead change management based on process and procedure improvements.
Key experiences and competencies Requirements Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Management or related field) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proactive and assertive approach to leadership and decision-making Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organization and time-management skills Excellent proficiency in English Consistent access to a strong, reliable internet connection Working hours Flexible 8-hour daily shift, Monday to Friday, with a strong preference for EMEA working hours.
