Reports To: School Operations and Blended Learning Manager
Purpose of Role: SPARK High Schools Learning Support Assistants drive student achievement by overseeing the culture and effectiveness of lunch, break, and aftercare programmes. They care for classes of students during these times to ensure academic achievement, health, and safety.
Responsibilities: Scholar Support: Implement Emotional Learning curriculum with scholars.Manage behavior of scholars.Communicate professionally with parents and line managers about incidents, conflicts, or concerns in after school programs.Scholar Supervision and Monitoring: Supervise lunch and break during the instructional day.Conduct school patrols.Supervise bathrooms.Ensure SPARK's healthy food scheme is enforced by checking lunches.Achievement Enrichment School Program: Supervise scholars during the after school program, ensuring play and structured activities.Plan engaging enrichment experiences and resources for scholars, including structured activities and team-based sports.Ensure responsible and effective use of after school program resources.Assist scholars with clarifying and reviewing concepts taught in class.Schedule and plan individual sessions for scholars in collaboration with subject matter educators.Clubs: Manage clubs using SPARK culture and behavior management strategies.Facilitate weekly club lessons.Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
