As part of our development we are looking to strengthen our IT Department in Cape Town and are looking for a Helpdesk Technician Second Line with a passion for new challenges within a dynamic and humanfocused company.
Tasks The Helpdesk Technician Second Line at Capago manages the companys IT systems and is the main point of contact between employees and the IT department.
His/Her main mission is to provide technical support and assistance to the employees and maintain the operational conditions of the groups IT infrastructure.
Managing the IT systems of the company Installing & configuring hardware and software monitoring asset status performing backups and hardware maintenance ) Correcting IT Issues Receiving and managing requests sent to the department diagnosing and taking corrective actions Assisting employees Responding to users requests and assisting them by resolving their issues providing proximity and distance support Managing ITrelated projects for the group Preparing the opening of new centres drafting procedures and communicating them participating in IT projects for the group Requirements The skills required for this position are: Fluency in English and French; HTML coding experience mandatory; Organizational skills; Perseverance rigour and precision ; Reactivity; Creativity; Technical skills and in search for innovations; Performancedriven mindset; Communication skills; Ability to work under pressure.
DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE Matric & University degree or equivalent in computer science Studies in informatics and specialization in computer networks.
