CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions responsible for financing and managing visa application centres to process their Schengen visa applications.
We operate in 10 countries and welcome more than 250000 visa applicants annually.
As part of our development we want to strengthen our IT Department in Cape Town.
We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician Second Line with a passion for new challenges within a dynamic and humanfocused company.
The Helpdesk Technician Second Line at Capago manages the companys IT systems and is the main point of contact between employees and the IT department.
His/Her main mission is to provide technical support and assistance to the employees and maintain the operational conditions of the groups IT infrastructure.
Managing the IT systems of the company
Installing & configuring hardware and software monitoring asset status performing backups and hardware maintenance )
Correcting IT Issues
Receiving and managing requests sent to the department diagnosing and taking corrective actions
Assisting employees
Responding to users requests and assisting them by resolving their issues providing proximity and distance support
Managing ITrelated projects for the group
Preparing the opening of new centres drafting procedures and communicating them participating in IT projects for the group
REQUIRED SKILLS The skills required for this position are:
Fluency in English HTML coding experience mandatory;
Organizational skills;
Perseverance rigour and precision ;

Technical skills and in search for innovations;
Performancedriven mindset;
Communication skills;
Ability to work under pressure.
DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE Matric & University degree or equivalent in computer science
Studies in informatics and specialization in computer networks.
Experience in an IT team

This position is to be fulfilled in/at:
Cape Town South Africa (onsite)
