Hedge Fund Accountant

Fantastic opportunity to join a respected and talented alternative investments administration team as a Hedge Fund Accountant. Ideal candidate will have no less than 2 years' experience in a similar role. Great team, currently experiencing growth.Responsibilities:Daily reconciliations assisting with daily NAV processFull fund accounting of alternative products such as private equity, hedge funds etc.End-to-end administration and accounting calculation of net asset values of fund structuresDaily, weekly and monthly reporting and process to service funds as allocatedAd hoc process or system updates as requiredRequirements:Minimum of a completed degree Finance/ Accounting or similarMinimum of 2 years fund accounting or hedge fund administration experienceMust have strong MSExcel skills, and ideally have some investment accounting platform exposureGood team player who can work well within a teamAbility to manage multiple responsibilitiesExcellent organisational and time management skillsHigh levels of integrity and respectAnalytical thinkerAbility to work well in a team and under pressureThis is an Employment Equity designated opportunity, in line with our clients EE requirements.Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
