DescriptionOur client based in East Rand, Johannesburg, is looking to add a Heavy Truck Sales Executive to their team.Requirements:MatricMin 10 years industry experience working with the following brands: UD, Fuso, Mercedes, FAW, Isuzu, Iveco, Scania, DAF, and MAN.Sales and marketing experience in extra heavy commercial vehicles in SA.Established record of achieving targets.Experience of scorecard build-up and new business development will be an added advantage.Experience selling American / European trucks will be preferred.Multilingual.Responsibilities but not limited to:Maximize the sales of parts to internal and external customers and focus on the acquisition and retention of customers.Ensure full compliance with company procedures.Generate industry feedback and update the product/completion Management Information System (MIS) monthly.Work closely with the Business Head to finalize monthly schemes aimed at increasing sales volumes.Drive direct sales from extra heavy truck clients/customers.Maintain relationships with key customers and measure share of business at key accounts.Increase volumes and market share in the assigned province/territory.Sell vehicles that meet customer needs; ensure the initial quotation is accurate.Listen attentively to customers to clearly understand their requirements and locations.Show interest in personal development and a willingness to learn more about the product.Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers.Personally manage work efficiency.Ensure that all leads are recorded on the Customer Management System (CMS).Follow prescribed cash and credit processing procedures of the dealership.Control showroom inventory to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.Minimize the risk of stock shortages and losses.Manage all material handling tools and equipment according to dealership/the company's standards.Adhere to access control procedures to maintain orderliness and cleanliness.Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules.Foster good working relationships with colleagues and peers.Take corrective action on any out-of-line items.Properly adhere to company rules regarding the use of tools, special equipment, and company assets.Promote wellness and encourage confidence in job analysis and understanding within the team.
