Healthcare Actuarial Analyst - Pricing And Product Development

Duties & Responsibilities:Pricing Analysis: Support the Senior Pricing Actuary in monitoring, analyzing, and pricing medical schemes, identifying risks and optimizing pricing models.Product Development: Contribute to the design and refinement of healthcare products to meet client needs.Market Research: Perform in-depth research to inform competitive pricing and market strategies.Data Management & Analysis: Use SAS, SQL, and advanced Excel functions to extract and analyze data, identify trends, and understand causes of deviations.Scenario Investigation: Examine inconsistencies, explore different scenarios, and provide best-practice recommendations.Financial Reporting: Assist with financial reporting, including calculating IBNR using actuarial methods, such as short-term insurance runoff triangles and statistical modeling.Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelors Degree with majors in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, or Mathematics.Technical Skills:Advanced skills in Excel (including macros), and proficiency in SAS or SQL for data manipulation and management.Strong analytical capabilities with practical data manipulation experience.Apply now!
