OverviewJob Title: Health & Safety OfficerHire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Officer to join their team in Paulspietersburg, Empangeni. The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement health and safety policies and proceduresConduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risksInvestigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actionsProvide training to employees on health and safety procedures and protocolsKeep up-to-date with health and safety legislation and regulationsMaintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety mattersCollaborate with management to create a culture of safety awareness within the organizationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related fieldCertified Health & Safety Officer (CHSO) designation preferredMore than 5 years experience in civils, traffic accommodation, blasting operations and piling activitiesKnowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office applications
