Health, Safety & Environment Manager (Oil & Gas Industry)

Oversees the implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies within the company.
Develop strategies to promote a safety culture, reduce occupational risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify risk areas, assess incidents, and propose corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Job activities Development of HSE Policies:  Define and implement HSE policies aligned with current standards and regulations.
Inspections and Audits:  Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Training and Awareness:  Organize training sessions to raise awareness among staff regarding risks and best safety practices.
Incident Management:  Investigate HSE incidents, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions.
Reports and Documentation:  Maintain updated documents and reports concerning incidents, audits, and inspections.
Safety Equipment Management:  Ensure the availability and proper functioning of safety equipment.
Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure that all activities comply with current regulations.
Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:  Periodically assess HSE performance and propose improvement actions.
Required skills Appropriate HSE qualification At least five years' experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations specific to the  oil and gas sector .
Ability to develop, implement, and manage HSE policies.
Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and awareness-raising skills.
Teamwork ability and motivation to foster a strong safety culture.
